When will Montego deliver the donated product?
Each Monday we will collect the data from the previous week's donations to deliver in that week.
How will I know when my delivery was done?
We will send you an email once the delivery has been concluded. We will also supply your contact details to the charity/charities to which you made the donation in order for them to:
Are Montego making money from the donations?
The food being sold are at a greatly reduced price, but not below cost. However all proceeds made from the donations will again be donated in the form of food to the participating charities.
What is the main objective of the project?
To offer a cost effective opportunity for the public to donate food to charities. By offering the food at a greatly reduced price and by directly delivering to charities and shelters we are adding value to the donations, allowing more food to be donated for the same value.
Will you add any charities to the list?
Simply put, if we don’t believe in something we won’t put the Montego name anywhere near it. With that in mind you can be sure that we sponsor the organisations and charities on the list with pride as well as confidence in that they’re doing the good things they say they’re doing, just like we do.
Is there an expiry date to this project
Not specifically. We will continue to run the project as long as we see a need created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Should we find the project successful, we will consider to continue with it indefinitely.
